Mission:
The Kid’s Church Ministry of Shekinah is dedicated to being a support to the Godly adult figures in each child’s life that walk through our doors by: teaching Biblically sound curriculum, offering tools that encourage living out their faith every day, and by simply being a light for Jesus in their lives.
Shekinah Christian Center "Kids Church" provides classes for children from preschool through 4th grade. Our vision is to see kids connect with God through His word and to provide child-relevant and age-appropriate teachings that will be taken with them throughout their lives.
Knowing Him, Believing Him and Seeking Him
John 8:51 - "I tell you the truth, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death."(see also Proverbs 4:4)
Our focus for the year is "Hiding God's Word in Your Heart" which includes Pocket Scriptures. Not only does this mean your children are memorizing the word but they are seeing the truth in it. (John 8:31) We believe this also creates a passion for Scripture so they will seek to understand its principles and apply its truth to all their relationships in Christ-like obedience. (John 8:55)(2 Tim 3:16-17)
