A Mustard Seed of Faith!
“Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.” Psalm 102:18
April 16th - A Mustard Seed of Faith!
“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20-21 .
Shekinah, The Bridge and Calvary have worked together to build a Christian bi-lingual school in northern Thailand to share Jesus with those who only know the hopelessness of Buddhism. We have enough raised now between all the partners to finish the school structure. There are supplies to buy to complete each classroom, but the funds are raised for the building!
Last Sunday we offered a little mustard to donors to remind all of us that even a tiny bit of faith can move a huge mountain. Use it to remind you that our combined tiny bits of faith have all been used to do the impossible: raising $120,000 to build a school in Thailand in the worst economic times since the depression!

March 13th - Over $110,000 has been raised now between all the partners to build the bi-lingual Christian school in Thailand. Upon completion, this school will provide the means to share Jesus with those who only know the hopelessness of Buddhism.
We need less than $9,000 to complete the construction so the school can open this May. To donate to the project please place your check made out to THIS GRACIOUS WORK in the Shekinah donation boxes at the rear of the church and note ‘school’ on the memo line.
Bless you as you pray and seek the Lord’s leading as to your part in this project. You can check on the progress of the school building at: www.bscmschool.com to watch the progress & completion!

Check out the Thai table to see the blueprints for the school and to see pictures of the land being prepared for the school’s foundation. The school is to be built in modular panels that will go up quickly. We will have more pictures next month so we can all watch the building go up.
September 11th - We are getting closer to our goal of $120,000 by December 31. If Roger’s wonderful message on the 6th has prompted you to support the bi-lingual school check out the NEW gifts on the back table – fresh from Thailand. Remember, anyone who donates to the project can choose a Thai gift to take home. A big THANK YOU to Roger Lucas for his heartfelt message and to Bill Wood from Calvary Community who is our shopper extraordinaire in Thailand.

August 2nd - We were thrilled to be able to donate just over $2000 toward the project from donations that came in at the BBQ Sunday 7/26 and from recent donations from the Thai trinket table. Your support will make a difference in Thailand as we work to influence that Buddhist culture for Jesus through the kids who attend the new school.
Our total Shekinah donations toward the school, raised just since June 1, are almost $8,300. Thank you to everyone who has helped. We hope to reach our combined goal of $120,000 by December 31.
Please partner with us as we raise the funds to share Jesus with a hurting people, a people now steeped in the Buddhist philosophy that only brings death. You know who holds the keys to life; please pray about how you can be a part of this awesome ministry. Contact Mary Ann Dawkins at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Dear Shekinah, THANK YOU for your amazing and generous response in giving donations for the new school project in Thailand at the June BBQ Fundraiser!
You raised over $700.00 by your generous giving.
Another big THANK YOU to all of you who slaved over hot ovens to bring desserts as well! There was such an abundance that the leftover ‘baskets’ went to Mt. Ministries to treat them too! And some of the leftovers are also helping feed our kids at their summer camp!
The next Shekinah BBQ is scheduled for July 26th. See you then for big servings of fellowship and yummy food!
Thailand School Project Update
“Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.” Psalm 102:18
Are you watching the fund raising thermometer rising? We are more than half way to our goal of $120,000 by December 31. We are partnering with The Bridge and Calvary to build a Christian bi-lingual school in northern Thailand to share Jesus with those who only know the hopelessness of Buddhism. We hope to have the school ready for students at the start of their school year on May 1.
Our VBS kids raised $560 and our crazy duct tape event on the 12th brought in another $1300. That brings our Shekinah contributions to the school to just over $7000. Thank you to all who are sacrificing for these kids and those who are still praying about how you are called to help. On the 26th we’ll have another BBQ and Danielle Robbins will share about her year in Thailand teaching at a children’s home there. Come prepared to be blessed and fed!
