Letter from Bethany

YWAM Idaho outreach to India

Hello friends and family;

I am writing to fill you in on the latest happenings of my journey in life.

A while ago I visited the YWAM base in Idaho and was invited to be a part of the staff of the DTS and join them on their outreach to India. I have decided to join this team of ragamuffins to share the good news of the gospel that has so evidently transformed their lives as they have received much grace. There are five young girl students, three guys and one girl staff…plus me. The students are just now finishing their lecture phase and will be leaving for their outreach in India on December 3rd and expected to return toward the end of February.

The school is comprised of girls who all have such vision for God’s compassionate and merciful love to be given away. This outreach has been specifically designed with the intent to reach out to orphans by teaching them basic hygiene skills and giving them little homemade kits with the necessary things to help keep themselves clean. The other ministries we will be working with were birthed through the School of Apostolic Pioneering that I participated in India last year. Very exciting!

I remember articulating to some of you last year upon my returning home about how amazed I was to see whole families serving the Lord with consecrated devotion in India. This time of spending three months in India will be an opportunity to support these families and hopefully spark a vision in these DTS girl’s as well as my heart for the future. It is sweet to see His hand moving and leading his people for his purposes.

Thank you for being such an integral part of my life and sharing in this ministry through your prayers of intercession.

Please be praying for:

Obedience to God’s word for this team and to Trust with the faith of a child!
Wisdom and understanding as I learn to lead by serving. Have the mind of Christ.
Discernment for everyone on the team and to walk in the light of the truth.
Every encumbrance that holds these girls from seeking God with their whole hearts would be cut off so they can run the race with endurance.

Thank you again for your support. May the Father continue to show you more of himself as you enjoy Him in your lives. I pray his great love fills your hearts extravagantly!
